Dr. Rayna Savrosa, L.Ac, DACM

After several trips to China, and after working on my own health challenges through acupuncture and dietary changes, I knew I wanted to practice this ancient and creative medicine. I completed a four-year program at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, graduating with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). During my training, I completed an internship at the CIIS auricular clinic, as well as an internship at CPMC’s rehabilitation department, where I worked closely with recovering stroke patients.

As a practitioner, my goal is to help people feel better. This means something different for each person who comes to see me—whether we are focusing on chronic or acute pain, digestive disorders, allergies, insomnia, or menstrual cramps. One of the most exciting aspects of Chinese medicine is that it is completely individualized.

In my practice I use a variety of modalities including acupuncture, herbs, cupping, moxibustion, shiatsu, and nutritional counseling. I look forward to working with each patient to address individual needs, and tailor treatments to their unique condition and goals. I feel especially excited about empowering patients to take their health into their own hands so that they may heal on and off the table.

As a San Francisco native, born and raised in the Inner Sunset, I am thrilled to be practicing Chinese medicine here in our beautiful city, and am looking forward to working with you.
